Blushing leaves of Autumn
Autumn air blows in a surly wind,
Rattling the leaves
and rousing them from their summer slumber.
It plucks at them with frosty fingers,
teasing them off of their branches.
Blushing scarlet at the taunting gusts,
They scatter before the coming cold.
